Christmas day

I love Christmas!! On Christmas Eve we took reindeer food and spread it on the front lawn.
And made cookies for Santa!!

The kids started the morning by putting baby Jesus in the manger and a family reading of the bible. I think that Haylee has the story of Christ bith memorized. Then we opened presents. their was paper and screams of joy and more paper and more screams of joy. Erin now has a collection of horses and she is sooo very thankful.
The other kids loved the clothes and all the toys. Me and kit loved the kitchen gadgets, vaccums, and stuff. Thank you ssooo much to all the grandparents and great grandparents. We love you all very much. Have a Happy New Year. I made the video so you guys could get a look at all the fun we had.

Christmas party

It has been a while!! November went by fast. And Christmas came before we knew it. Haylee, Erin, and Tyler all did wonderful Chrisymas plays at school. I was very happy to hear the kids say Merry Christmas through out all the plays. The last day of school was a Polar Exspress theme. The kids had a blast.
We had some friends over for a Christmas party. We played some games. We took the 2 five year old boys and stuffed them with balloons to make them look fatter like Santa Cluses.
We also made the kids find all 8 of Santas riendeer. 8 kids under the age of 9 and 6 adults in one house was LOUD but was soo much fun.

Halloween 2009

Well I know its a little late but here are the Halloween pics. Haylee is a cowgirl. Erin is Tinkerbell. Tyler is the Hulk. And Kryssi is a pretty"pony". They don't real know what unicorns are so she told everyone she was mommies pretty pony. Tyler loved Halloween this year. He is going to be like his dad a love to dress up just to see if he can get some kind of reaction out of people. We went to the church fall festival. They had bible related games and lots of candy. After telling them we were going to leave because they were not playing any games they all the sudden found a game to play. Tyler liked the " Red Sea Raceway". It was a sack race with the sides looking like a sea. Haylee and Erin both took turns going back and forth between a arm wrestling game and a water gun game. They were arm wrestling Samson, after his hair had been cut. And the water game was to shoot out a candle with a water gun. Erin was good at it. Kyrssi real did not care about anything but eating the candy!! we had a good time.

pumpkin carving time!!

We had a lot of fun last night carving pumpkins. Normally Haylee and Erin try as hard as they can not to throw up. This year they did pretty good. Haylee only gagged once. And Erin only gagged after tasting the pumpkin cause Kryssi was eating it and said it was good. It was nice this year cause they actually got all the seeds out. All I had to do was the slim part. Which is the worse part but they did a good job of helping.

Kit got a huge pumpkin!! We joked about putting Kryssi in it but she did not quite fit.

Haylee is the spider. Erins is the cat face. Tylers is the scary face. Kryssis is the other cat. Mine was the silly face. And kits won the contest. His was a picture of Jesus.

We had a blast and now off to cook the seeds!!!

picking pumpkins

On friday Tyler class took a field trip to Apple Annie's Orchard. They walked though a small part of the corn maze and took a hay ride to pick pumpkins. He had a blast. Tyler likes the girls already, great!! He got a gift from one and got caught holding hands with other.

Then we went as a family on Saturday. We took the hardest corn maze trail. We got lost. I think we were in the maze for about 30 minutes. It was so fun though. The view of the maze from the air shows they cut out aminal shapes in the corn field.
We also took the hay ride out to the pumpkin field. Erin's eyes were bigger then her muscles. We told the they had to carry there pumpkins cause Kit was going to get a big one. She made it back to the trailer but barely. Tyler helped Kryssi find one. She liked it till she found out the the stem is pokey.

We had a blast. it was windy but very fun. We walked for 3 hours straight. the kids slept good that night. So did we.

In Memory of Papa

I just want to write a little in memory of my papa. He was a man that loved everyone. He was a clown for the Shriner's. When I was little I had a lot of sleep over weekends. I remember he would peek in the room and see if i was moving around yet and if I was he would run to the donut shop and get donuts. Another good memory was when we would grill out. He made the best hamburgers and brisket. We would all sit down and eat and laugh the entire time. He taught me how to do the number puzzle books. He always gave the biggest bear hugs every time. He was always happy and loved the Lord with his whole heart. He is in a wonderful place now with love joy and no more pain. We love you and will miss you Papa Markham.

fun fun fun

September has been fun!! We started off with a visit from Grandma Vicki and Papa Juan. They came down for Haylee's birthday. Haylee had a Ice Cream party. Her and all her friends make their own ice cream sundaes. They had 3 flavors of ice cream and about every topping you can think of. Haylee didn't get a cake so her sundae was her cake!!
She was so happy. Thank you for all the presents and thank you Summer for coming and sharing in our sugar high!
Later that weekend we went to the apple orchard and picked apples. the kids love picking the fruit and veggies.
And on the down side we found out that Kryssi has 4 cavities. They are going to fill 2 tomorrow. We will see how she reacts before we do the rest. They also said she has an under bite but we will take care of that when she is about 7. Thank God i only have one out of four that have my teeth.

oh it's Kryssi

well since the older three have been in school me and Kryssi have been all by ourselves. It has made me realize that she hass as much energy as all the others combined. She is soooo independant. Yet when she is done she is ready to be held. She tells everybody we see that she is going to school now. Her personality is just soo fun/hard. I just thought I would share so pictures of what a silly kid I live with.

The other kids r doing good in school. Erin reads at a third grade level. Haylee has already got a award for her spelling. And Tyler is doing good but he is acting very very shy. His teachers can't get a good test of what he knows because he is afraid to talk to anybody, who would have though. Everything else is great.

school

Well we are back in school. Haylee started third grade, Erinstarted second grade, and Tyler started kindergarden. They were excited. Haylee said she didnot want to go because each grade gets harder. That part of life. I think she said that because Kit is talking about going back to school and he said he has always not liked school. Erin was up and ready tp go this morning. Tyler was ready but he said as we were pulling up to the school that his belly hurt. Kryssi was ready to stay but she is doing ok without anybody to fight with.

peaches

Last weekend we had so much fun. We went to Apple Annie's Orchard. The kids and us picked Peaches, pears, jalapenos, green chilies, bell peppers, and tomatoes. They have rows of trees and plants. You just walk out into the field or orchard and pick what ever you want. They have samples of jellies, breads, and fudge that was all homemade. Haylee did very good. We did pick a couple corn and that was the breaking point for her. She is not as bad about the leaves as she use to be but the corn got her. Now we get to make pear sauce and peach ice cream. We have already had chili rellenos and and Kryssi has had her bell peppers. We will be getting apples in September and pumpkins in October.

July??

July went by so fast. I don't know if i even took pictures this month. We went and got the kids some school supplies and a couple outfits the other day. This is the part they tell you about that is exspincive. I cant believe that I am going to have three in school this year. Kryssi keeps saying that she is going to school too. I might have to leave her at school if tyler wont stay. Tyler is happy to start school but a little uneasy about the change. Kryssi will be my one that says "go home mom".
We had fun in Carlsbad. The kids loved seeing everyone. Tyler cant wait to get back and ride on papa farris's new quad{riding mower}. We all had a good time. hopefuly we will be down for thanksgiving.

She has played with all the littlest pet shop stuff, the barbie vet stuff, and the rest of the toys. She gas already read all 3 books. We have all played the 'scene it" game a few times. All of the girls have made braclets for grandmas and friends. And erin has put make up on all the girls. She is pretty good at it.

oh no marshmallows

We found the coolest thing at Wal-Mart today. The had huge marshmallows. These are about the size of my hand. They were to cool to not get.

I told the kids to put as much of it in there mouth as they could. They love to play chubby bunny. It took poor Kryssi almost 10 minutes to eat hers. I want to roast these. I would need back up for blowing this one out.

Erin's early present

We could not wait any longer. Erin got her birthday present from us. Kit played her happy birthday on it while we all sang it. She was so excited. Kit has been giving her lessons so she knows most of the notes just not the rhythm to play a song yet.
